Dr. Amundson is a 2006 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She joined VCA Companion Animal Medical Center in 2009. She is passionate about the well-being of her patients and has a particular interest in dermatology. Over the years, Dr. Amundson has enjoyed mentoring undergraduate and high school students who are interested in veterinary medicine. She recently rescued two young cats that provide additional entertainment in her home.

Dr. Amundson loves gardening and hiking with her husband, traveling with her family, photography, and spending time with her two sons.
