Dr. Boykins graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in 2024 and joined VCA Community Companion in August that same year. Ever since he was a child, he wanted to be a veterinarian. It was a combination of many factors that led to this childhood dream: a love for animals, an interest in science and nature, a love for puzzles, and seeing Dr. Dolittle. Over the years, Dr. Boykins has taken care of many animals from dogs, rabbits and hamsters, to fish, turtles and birds. He enjoys the variety of cases that can be seen in general practice and cherishes the journey he takes with clients and patients on the road to a healthy life.

In his free time, Dr. Boykins dives in sci-fi and fantasy novels, builds Lego sets, cooks, and watches a variety of animated projects.
