Kim comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in both large animal and small animal medicine. After growing up outside of Chicago, Kim moved to Las Vegas where she met her husband. They moved to South Texas where they raised their family and Kim worked as a veterinary technician in small animal practice and then a mixed animal clinic serving the rural ranches of the Rio Grande Valley. She also worked as a practice manager in the only animal emergency clinic in the region. With all her experience, Kim was chosen to lead the local humane society as the Executive Director, where she spent 10 years serving the community, all while producing Missouri Fox Trotter horses and managing her menagerie of birds and exotic pets. Kim and her husband escaped the South Texas heat and moved to New York to be closer to family. When she is not in the hospital focused on supporting our clients and staff, Kim spends her time figuring out how to entertain her giant breed dogs, caring for her horses and serving as a board member on several non-profit organizations. She is looking forward to exploring the finger lakes area and visiting her 8 grandchildren.
