Dr. Tuttle grew up in Connecticut, and then moved to Indiana, attending Purdue University, receiving a B.S. in Biology.
She then participated in a post-grad fellowship at the Center for Brain Research at the University of Rochester in New York state. She graduated from Iowa State University with a D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine).
Upon graduation, she practiced mixed animal medicine in Winslow, Maine. In 1999, she moved to Virginia, and has been practicing small animal medicine since then. She joined our veterinary team here at VCA Chiquita Animal Hospital in 2013. Her current interests in veterinary medicine are acupuncture and Chinese medicine (certified in 2007), internal medicine, and nutrition.
Her hobbies include hiking, kayaking, gardening, baking and reading when indoors. Having recently moved to the state of Florida to be with us at Chiquita Animal Hospital, she is looking forward to exploring Florida! She currently has a matching cat and dog; Ollie, her Golden Retriever, and Chester, her orange tabby cat. She also has a new addition to her family, her 1 year old bubbly and rambunctious golden, "Brody," who is also a clinic mascot.
