Client Service Representative
I am originally from Augusta, GA, and grew up in a military family in Fayetteville, NC. My love for animals started at a very young age. Growing up, our family had many pets including cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, and a family of rescued baby possums. I moved to Morehead City, NC, and began my veterinary career working at a Veterinary Hospital as an assistant and receptionist. Originally, I planned to go into Nursing, and attended Carteret Technical College to become a Certified Nurse's Assistant. I realized with my love for animals that I wanted to continue in the Veterinary Field. After moving to Charleston, I began working at VCA Charles Towne. I have been so fortunate to get to know all of our wonderful clients and their special pets over the years. I also volunteered at the SC Center for Birds of Prey in Awendaw for 5 years. It was an amazing experience assisting in the care of hawks, eagles, owls, osprey, kestrels, and vultures. My pet family consists of my cats - Hunley, Windy, Spice, Emerald, and Tippy. I love being outdoors in nature, bird-watching, visiting small towns and learning about their history, railroad history, antiques, and all things vintage!
