DVM
Dr. Christine Frank is a small animal veterinarian with a special interest in exotic animal medicine. She grew up in Colorado, however, has spent the majority of her veterinary career working in Canada. Recently she has relocated from Calgary to Victoria to be closer to the Pacific Ocean and the many hobbies she enjoys.
Before beginning her career as a veterinarian, Dr. Frank worked as a marine mammal trainer in Florida for 2 years, then attended school in Colorado to become a certified veterinary technician in 2012. After successfully completing her veterinary technician training, Dr. Frank went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University in 2016. Soon after graduation from veterinary school she traveled to Saskatchewan to pursue a veterinary internship in Zoological, Wildlife, and Exotic animal medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Her desire to be closer to the mountains and ocean brought her to Alberta and British Columbia to begin work as a small animal practitioner.
In addition to her veterinary career, Dr. Frank is a certified PADI Divemaster. Her favourite place in the world to scuba dive is in the cold waters off Vancouver Island. She also enjoys snowboarding and hiking. Dr. Frank is excited for the opportunity to provide care for your furry, feathered, or scaled pets!
