Dr. Philpot received a Bachelor's in Animal Science at Auburn University and then attended Auburn's College of Veterinary Medicine for his doctorate. The following year he completed a small animal rotating internship in Atlanta before deciding to go out into general practice. He really enjoys surgery, internal medicine, and critical care. 

Dr. Philpot is from Birmingham, Alabama, although he has called Auburn home for the past 10 years. He is passionate about practicing high quality medicine by keeping up to date with advancements in veterinary medicine and continued education. He has one dog named Henry. Outside of work, Dr. Philpot enjoys spending time with his friends and family, working out, hunting, and skiing.
