I got my Associate's in Conservation and worked as a safari guide in Mozambique South Africa for 2 years. This sparked my interest in veterinary medicine and then I started training horses and working with a large animal vet. I have since been in the profession for 17 years and have worked in ER/ECC, Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine and Oncology, with Oncology and Internal Medicine as my main focus.
I am from Johannesburg, South Africa and came to the States 20 years ago and have lived in Hawaii, New York, Maine and New Hampshire. I have traveled through 36 states in Northern America with some travel to Spain, Thailand and England.
My days off are spent with my daughters hiking and running, and in my alone time, I enjoy surfing, cycling and reading.
