Veronica's journey into the veterinary field all started at what was then known as Capeway Veterinary Hospital in 2014 interning as a student medical assistant while attending Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School. She admits to intentionally getting into the Medical Assisting program because she knew she could have the opportunity to intern at a vet hospital, which of course was Capeway. After graduating high school in 2016, she went on to get an A.S. degree in Veterinary Health Care with honors, involved herself in lots of volunteer work, started working at a vet clinic as a tech, and by chance has been led back to Capeway as a technician assistant!
Beyond her love for animals, Veronica loves being outdoors doing something adventurous. You'll find her long boarding or bike riding, paddle boarding or kayaking, maybe hiking, swimming, camping, or just simply adventuring with her best friends. She relaxes at the end of the day with getting lots of kisses from her sweet bunny named Blossom and lots of cuddles from her sweet cats named Peaches and Beni.
