Dr. Indu Mani graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1995, completed an internship in small animal medicine, surgery and critical care from the University of Minnesota in 1996, and received her Doctor of Science degree from Harvard University in 2002 in virology. Dr. Mani also serves as the editor of the veterinary journals Clinician’s Brief and Plumb's Therapeutics Brief and is the chief veterinary officer at Brief Media. She has been awarded recognition as a Distinguished Practitioner and Fellow in the National Academies of Practice and is a member (Hon.) of the Website Advisory Board for the One Health Initiative. Her professional interests include all aspects of internal medicine, particularly infectious and zoonotic diseases. She lives locally with her family and Labrador retriever.
