Dr. Koch is a California native. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1998. From there, she went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2002. She went on to get additional training by completing an internship at the Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists in Florida with a concentration in surgery and emergency medicine.

Since that time, she has practiced for years in both emergency and general settings. She has moved to South Carolina with her better half, her four feisty kitties, and her trusty pup JoJo in search of cooler weather. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends, exploring nature, and “flitting about the planet” to see more of the world.
