Christie first started at Bay Ridge Animal Hospital in August 2015 as a Veterinary Assistant, and has been the Vet Assistant Supervisor since March 2018. 

Born in upstate New York, she has been living and working in NYC for the past 10 years. She still takes frequent trips to her hometown in the Catskills, where she enjoys hiking, boating, and being surrounded by the mountains. She graduated from NYU after having majored in something completely unrelated to veterinary medicine, but rediscovered after several years her passion for working with animals. 

She has two handsome tuxedo cats of her own at home, Mowgli and Petey, one of which has learned to sit and give his paw. Christie has loved the opportunity to learn so much about vet medicine while working here at Bay Ridge Animal Hospital, and is grateful to have found her calling. Getting to know each patient and finding so many personalities to adore, while witnessing all the fascinating aspects of veterinary medicine, has surely initiated her success in the field.
