Dr. Thomson was born and raised in the Reno-Sparks area. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian thanks to her aunt who is a veterinary technician. 

Dr. Thomson graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with her B.S. in Animal Science. She then earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 at Washington State University. 

Dr. Thomson's veterinary interests include emergency medicine, surgery with an emphasis in orthopedics, and internal medicine. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, reading, baking, and spoiling her two cats, Lola and Jasper.
