Hello! I am Angie. I have always known as a small child that I wanted to work with animals. After getting my Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet at Iowa State University in 2005, I started working directly with shelter animals in Colorado. Soon after, I started working in the veterinary clinic setting at an orthopedic referral clinic starting as kennel tech, and working my way up to veterinary assistant. After 2 years in the clinic setting, I started working for the local emergency clinic where I worked for 5 years. After moving back to Iowa, and taking 2 years out of the clinic setting, I decided it was time to start back. VCA Avondale was my first choice when getting back into the field, and it has been a great fit. My Avondale team is like family to me, and our patients and clients are the best!
