Working in the veterinary field has been Catherine's calling since she could crawl. Catherine grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, other farm animals, dogs and cats. When you have had as many animals as Catherine has, you get a lot of experience with veterinarians. When one of our animals needed care, I was always active part of taking them to the vet, helping the veterinarian on the farm and helping with the treatments they needed. It only made scene that when Catherine decided to go to college her choice in major was veterinary technician.

Catherine graduated from the Northampton Community College Veterinary Technician program with honors in 2017. She then joined the VCA AVH team as a certified technician after graduation.

When Catherine is not at AVH you can find her working at the family sawmill, volunteering at Quiet Valley Historical farm or caring for her 3 cats.
