I, Dr. Gabrielle Bruggeman, grew up in Gilbert, Arizona, and knew from a young age that I wanted to work with animals. After attending the University of Arizona, I completed veterinary school through St. George's University and my clinical year at the University of Illinois. I practiced small animal medicine in New Jersey before relocating to sunny Florida to escape winters.

I have particular interest in long-term management of chronic illnesses, dermatology, and soft tissue surgery. I am available to see companion exotic pets, limited to small mammals and reptiles, and have previous wildlife rehabilitation experience with birds and larger mammals. I am excited to be nearly finished with my veterinary acupuncture certification, which I hope to incorporate into my pain management treatment plans. My favorite part about being a veterinarian is improving the lives of patients and partnering with owners to provide the best care for each unique pet.

When I'm not being a veterinarian, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and hanging out with my dog, 4 cats, and rabbit (all rescues!).
