Dr. Esteban R. Armendariz is a native of Santa Fe NM and graduated from Santa Fe High. He received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from New Mexico State University in 1992 and his Doctor of Veterinary medicine from Colorado State University in 1996. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is PENN HIP certified. Penn hip is a screening process in dogs for hip dysplasia.
He joined the VCA Arrighetti Animal Hospital team in 1997 after a year in South Dakota as a large animal veterinarian. His professional interests include internal medicine, surgery, and pain management. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in the great New Mexico outdoors and playing golf. Currently he has three cats.
