Brittney stands as an integral member of the VCA Appalachian team, assuming the role of Lead Veterinary Assistant since her arrival in August 2022. A true local, she has resided in this area her entire life and has wholeheartedly immersed herself in the animal-related medical field for an impressive span of 9 years.

Notably, Brittney is currently on a trajectory of growth, pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree through the program at Penn Foster. Beyond her role in patient care and academic pursuits, her personal interests paint a canvas of her vibrant life. From gardening and mastering the art of baking, to traversing hiking trails, she finds joy in a multitude of activities. Additionally, she's an avid enthusiast of fishing, hunting, and paintball—a testament to her adventurous spirit.

Spending quality time with family is of the utmost importance to Brittney and her close knit family always includes their cherished pets in their adventures. The ranks of their animal companions include Luna and Maverick, Australian cattle dogs known for their loyalty, and Scooby and Lilly, their endearing chiweenies.

Brittney finds profound satisfaction in her work, driven by her passion for her chosen profession. Her affection for animals resonates in every facet of her role, as she readily imparts her wealth of knowledge to enlighten pet owners.
