Originally hailing from the North East, Dr. Nicole DeNezzo began her veterinary career as a Certified Veterinary Technician at the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPAC) Angell Animal Medical Center, spending 5 years working primarily as an Emergency/ICU Technician.
In 2012 she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the prestigious Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, where her interest in emergency veterinary medicine broadened. Following graduation she ventured west and joined us here at Animal Specialty Group, where she completed a one-year rotating critical care internship.
In 2013, Dr. DeNezzo opted to exchange the cold winters of Boston for the warm sunshine of Los Angeles, and joined our Emergency + Critical Care Team as a Staff Veterinarian. Now an official Southern Californian, she lives with her dog, Moose, and her cat, Meowsers, and is taking full advantage of hiking with her dog, time on the beach, local live music, and dancing til dawn.
