Desiree has been a veterinary technician for many years. She feels that she has been privileged enough to spend most of that time as a Surgery Technician and Supervisor working side-by-side with many brilliant minds - doctors and technicians alike. Since joining the ASG team in 2008, Desiree feels very fortunate that she was able to fulfill one of her childhood dreams of working with wild animals such as tigers, bears, and hyenas.
Outside of ASG, Desiree spends her time working on her second passion, photography. She also enjoys hanging with her hubby (Carl), her 2 dogs (Rockstar & Wookie), and her 2 cockatiels (Maverick and Goose). When she has downtime, she LOVES being home watching Star Wars, Breaking Bad, and Game of Thrones again and again and again. Winter is Coming!
