I was born and raised in Rinteln, Germany. My family and I moved to the United States in 1992. With a mother born in California and a British father, life was never dull. I grew up outside of Glacier National Park in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana. I moved to Bozeman, Montana for my undergraduate training and met the love of my life and husband Luke.
Following undergrad, we set off to tackle veterinary school. I attended Colorado State University and left with a basis in veterinary medicine. I moved to Texas and started in a small animal practice. My parents followed the grandbabies here and I followed them. Since then I have moved into emergency medicine and have never looked back. I currently live part time in Houston and part time in Montana.
My passions outside of veterinary medicine revolve around horses mainly. I also enjoy hiking, road and downhill biking, skiing, scuba diving, rock/ice climbing and kayaking. My husband and I love the outdoors and spend every minute possible outside when I am in Montana. While in Texas, I enjoy my family and my sphinx cat Onyx. I hope to continue my career in emergency medicine, growing with the ever changing need and new information as it comes out.
