Dr. Laura Balgooyen grew up in Plymouth, Michigan where she graduated in 2015 from Michigan State.  After graduating she joined VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center for a 1 year rotating internship in small animal medicine. She moved to the bay area in 2016 and joined us as an Associate Veterinarian in August.  In her free time, she enjoys horse back riding, traveling and cheering on Michigan State Spartan football and basketball.  She loves developing relationships with her patients and their families and helping them live long happy lives.
