Dr. Grillone is a native of Massachusetts. Her passion for science started at a young age, influenced by her parent's careers in the medical field. However, it was her natural affinity for animals that sparked her interest in veterinary medicine. She pursued her interest in animal care by volunteering at local shelters, farms and the zoo and gaining experience as a veterinary technician. This led her to earn an undergraduate degree in Biology.
In 2022, she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. During this time, she was actively involved in leadership roles including student government association, surgery club and the interview committee. Following graduation, Dr. Grillone continued her education by completing a small animal medical and surgical rotating internship at Veterinary Specialty Center in Illinois.
Within veterinary medicine her interests include soft-tissue surgery, preventative care, geriatric care and connecting with clients over the human-animal bond. Dr. Grillone is a member of the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA), California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Beyond caring for animals, Dr. Grillone finds joy in practicing yoga, enjoying nature through hiking, and exploring different cultures through food.
